Royal FLORIA Putrajaya

(2007 – 2016)

The Royal FLORIA Putrajaya (‘Floria 2016’) is Malaysia’s largest flower and garden festival. It began in 2007 as a biennial event organised by Perbadanan Putrajaya and became an annual event from 2010. It was conferred royal status in 2014. The event is hosted by Putrajaya Corporation (Perbadanan Putrajaya or PPj) in collaboration with the Federal Territories Ministry, Ministry of Tourism & Culture, and Tourism Malaysia.

Alunan Pancarona

The Royal FLORIA Putrajaya Festival is back in the 2015 school season. Putrajaya Corporation (PPj) in collaboration with the Federal Territory Ministry will organize the Putrajaya Flowers and Royal Garden Festival or Royal FLORIA Putrajaya 2015. The festival will be managed by a wholly-owned subsidiary of Putrajaya Floria Sdn. Bhd. (PFSB). The theme of this time is Alunan Pancarona. featuring lilies as the main theme. Lilies are the main choice because they have a variety of species that produce beautiful and attractive colors.

Royal Putrajaya Floria 2014

Over 400,000 flowers and plants including over 60 species of Begonia flowers

The show exhibited more than 400,000 flowers and plants including over 60 species of Begonia flowers. Some of the new displays are Wedding Garden, City Garden, Designer, Fantasy, Futuristic and Visit Malaysia gardens. Others include the China-Malaysia Friendship Park, Hanging Garden and Cat Garden while last year’s Royal Garden, Tea Party Garden and Innovation Garden will be making a comeback. Another attraction is the Crop Bazaar and Horticulture Market that will see traders selling gardening tools, decorative plants, bio-technology products as well as offer landscape services.

The Orchid – Tropical Treasure

The Orchid – Tropical Treasure, The Floria Putrajaya 2013, will feature more than 200 species, cultivars and hybrid orchids, some of which are rarely seen. Orchid is one of the most popular decorative plants in Malaysia due to the warm and humid climate adaptability factor throughout the year. It is also a choice among flora enthusiasts in the country due to the varied size, structure and color of flowers. Malaysia is also a place where live orchid species reach thousands of species due to its climate adaptability. Floria Putrajaya 2013 featured 23 international participants from 18 countries comprising garden designers, florist and International Orchid Society / Association.

Flower-Paper Festival

The fifth edition featuring the Flower Paper – The Charming Standing slogan also showcases other unique species such as bonsai, heliconia and orchid for visitor gaze. To anyone especially fans of garden landscapes and flowers come to Floria 2012 to witness the beauty of the show. Floria 2012 also features 16 new faces of gardeners and international flower decorators, thereby enhancing the festivity of the annual event. The participation of the new country features different designs of landscapes and can spark diversity in producing a concept of a park. Indoor parks, exterior gardens and orchid parks from Australia, Taiwan, Indonesia, the Philippines, China, the Netherlands, United States and United Kingdom are also on display.

Rose Forever

Themed roses or roses as attractions, within a week the roses exhibit an attraction to anyone. The charm of the layered rose petals, the fragrant fragrance of red, white, yellow, orange and pink, stole a glimpse of the tree despite the sharp spines. The ‘Rose Forever’ theme, visitors can see over 100 species of roses from Southeast Asia and 300 species from around the world who have high commercial value.

Royal Putrajaya Floria 2010

The Beauty of the Tropics

This year the festival is themed ‘The Beauty of the Tropics’, which saw the largest collection of heliconia collections (shrimps) among the largest ever held in a garden setting. In fact, the flowers are colorful in every corner of Floria 2010 as in the floral alley zone, floral avenue, flower gate, meadow, children’s playground and gardener and heliconia flower growers or in festival zones. Floria 2010 is organized by the Perbadanan Putrajaya with the support of the Federal Territory and Urban Wellbeing Ministry. The festival is a colorful colorful Floria 2007 and 2009. Floria 2010 depicts the enchanting nature of nature with a variety of unique flowers in a real garden setting.

Orchid

PUTRAJAYA FLORIA, the Putrajaya Flower and Garden Festival, will be organised once again in Putrajaya, to showcase the beautiful landscapes, gardens and parks in the Garden City of Putrajaya. PUTRAJAYA FLORIA is an international event that is owned and jointly-hosted by the Ministry of Federal Territories and Perbadanan Putrajaya (Putrajaya Corporation). The event will showcase a spectacular display of flora creativity as well as local and international garden designs.
